THere are sometimes when parents behave like kids or even worse and you just want to tell them to cram it!!!!! Brenden is not the best player on his hockey, but he loves the sport and he really tries....and I have found out there is someone, a parent who wants him off so they can win more, now mind you this parent is just picking on my kid he is picking on others. GOOD GRIEf grow up. Luckily so far Brenden has no idea and his coach is handling it well, I suppose, I would have lost my mind by now if I was their coach. These kids could be a strong force if they learn to work together now and continue on in hockey.
I really hope Brenden never finds out, I hurt for him and I hurt for me.....and I secretly wanted to run over this persons foot in the parking lot the other day..................not really, I would nver do that, but is it very frustrating.

It sounds like unfairness in sporting events for kids is a bit worldwide! Shelley and I were just talking about that last night! You would think parents would try to teach the love of the game and good sportsmanship and stuff like that... guess not!

I can fully relate to hurting for our children!! I also understand how parents can be the worst. Sara's right (although don't tell her...it goes to her head!). It really is worldwide. I deal with very unpractical parents here in China. The parents here think their child is the only important one in my class and expect extra-special treatment. Apparently it's not just with sports...it's with English class too!! Hug Brenden for me....I know I'd think he was the best player if I was in those stands....unless a Howe was on the ice too (oops! am I one of those moms?) Love, Andra
